Lake-town

Lake-town has been rebuilt after its destruction. When the water in the Long Lake is low, Smaug’s bones can be seen in the distance.

The bustling town is divided into various districts: the Elven Quarter, the Market District, the Glittering Gate, the Residential District and so on.

Perched between the Market Pool and the Elven Quarter is The Perch, a sprawling inn that caters to travelers and wayfarers from all parts of Middle-Earth. The proprietor, Aldis, is blunt, but a fine host. Her husband does little work, but enjoys drinking and entertaining guests in the large common room with songs and stories, and is always happy to hear a new tale, or an old tale spun anew.
